FEATURES IN PGPWIRELESS FOR PALM OS 1.5

1.  Key Import.  PGPwireless now lets you import both public 
and private keys onto your handheld if you are not using 
PGPwireless in conjunction with PGP Desktop Security.  This 
makes it easy to import PGP keys from multiple platforms - 
Windows, Macintosh, and Linux, for example.

2.  PGPwireless now lets you securely wipe free memory on your 
handheld, ensuring that it cannot be recovered by anyone, even 
if you lose your handheld or it is stolen. (This is in addition 
to the ability to wipe the Clipboard, any Memo Pad record, and 
the contents of the Vault, which were available in version 1.0 
and are, of course, still available in version 1.5.)

3.  Automatic time zone setup.  If you are using PGPwireless in 
conjunction with PGP Desktop Security on your Windows PC, your 
time zone information will be automatically downloaded from your PC. 

4.  PGP Vault improvements.  The capacity of the Vault has been 
increased, you can change the passphrase from within the Vault, 
you can edit Vault categories on your PC, and accessing the Vault 
has been made easier by putting it on its own tab.

5.  AES support.  PGPwireless now supports the new AES algorithm, 
Rijndael.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The Palm OS module itself requires:

- Handheld device running Palm OS 3.1 or greater

Note: PGPwireless 1.5 has not been fully tested against 
Palm OS 4.0, but at release time there were no known issues.

To load PGPwireless onto your handheld, you will need:

- Palm Hotsync Manager 2.0 or greater

To install PGPwireless with the desktop conduit integration,
you must have already installed:

- Any edition of the Windows PGP client version 7.0.1 or greater

KNOWN ISSUES

1.  The Twofish algorithm is not yet supported.

2.  Applications based on the Palm OS Mail interface (including 
Mail, iMessenger, Corsoft Aileron, and OSmail, to name a few) do 
not allow the PGP Popup menu to directly grab the text of incoming 
messages.  To get around this limitation, copy the incoming message 
to the Clipboard and then use the PGPwireless for Palm OS clipboard 
capabilities on it.  For incoming messages that are too long to 
copy to the clipboard, "reply" to the message (copying the text 
to a new window) and then use the PGP Popup menu to grab the text 
from the reply.

3.  Hacks which remap the Grafitti area (e.g. Graspeedy 1.0) may 
interfere with the PGPwireless for Palm OS Popup menu, preventing 
access to PGP operations from within other applications.
