FEATURES IN PGPWIRELESS FOR PALM OS

1.  Complete implementation of PGP secure messaging for the
    Palm OS. All common PGP algorithms are supported
    including RSA, DSS, Diffie-Hellman, CAST, IDEA, TripleDES,
    MD5, and SHA-1. Conventional passphrase encryption is
    also supported.

2.  PGP Vault provides a secure memo pad for storage of credit cards,
    passwords, and other sensitive data.

3.  Full compatibility with MultiMail, the leading Palm OS
    mail application. MultiMail supports automatic replacement
    of original text with PGP text for the ultimate convenience.

4.  PGPwireless provides a menu accessible from any standard text
    editing application to perform encryption, decryption, signing,
    and verification of text within that application. From MemoPad
    to iMessenger to MultiMail and more, PGPwireless integrates itself
    for easy access.

5.  Public Key beaming allows you to beam your public key to friends
    through the infrared feature of your Palm.

6.  Wiping features allow secure erasure of sensitive data.

7.  Integration with the Windows PGP client allows easy key management
    and control over Vault information.

The documentation is automatically installed with the PGP 
software. Go to Start -> Programs -> PGPwireless for Palm OS ->
Documentation to locate the manuals. Each document is saved in
Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.PDF). You can view and
print these documents with Adobe's Acrobat Reader. PDF files 
can include hypertext links and  other navigation features to 
assist you in finding answers to questions about your Network 
Associates product.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

To install PGPwireless with the desktop conduit integration,
you must have already installed:

- Any edition of the Windows PGP client version 7.0.1 or greater

To load PGPwireless onto your handheld, you will need:

- Palm Hotsync Manager 2.0 or greater

The Palm OS module itself requires:

- Handheld device running Palm OS 3.1 or greater

KNOWN ISSUES

1.  The Twofish and AES algorithms are not yet supported.

2.  Applications based on the Palm OS Mail interface (including Mail,
iMessenger, Corsoft Aileron, and OSmail, to name a few) do not allow the 
PGP Popup menu to directly grab the text of incoming messages.  To get 
around this limitation, copy the incoming message to the Clipboard and 
then use the PGPwireless for Palm OS clipboard capabilities on it.  
For incoming messages that are too long to copy to the clipboard, 
"reply" to the message (copying the text to a new window) and then use 
the PGP Popup menu to grab the text from the reply.

3.  Some clipboard extension hacks (e.g. ClipHack 1.1, MultiClipHack 1.23)
are incompatible with the clipboard wiping function of PGPwireless for
Palm OS.  Attempting to wipe the clipboard with these hacks installed
may cause a Fatal Exception.

4.  Hacks which remap the Grafitti area (e.g. Graspeedy 1.0) may interfere
with the PGPwireless for Palm OS Popup menu, preventing access to PGP 
operations from within other applications.
