appropriate text box. Make sure the Grid field is empty.

Click the North, South, East or West option buttons
	to indicate your hemisphere.

Click the Set button in the local or DX frame.

2. Calculating latitude and longitude from a grid square:
Enter the grid square in the Grid field of either the local or
DX frame. You can use the following three formats for grid
	squares: EM, EM12 or EM12JQ.

	Click the Set button.

3. Calculating the Bearing from the local grid to the DX grid:
Set the local and DX longitude and latitude as described above.
(You must set the grid square as described in calculating grid
	squares.)

Click on the Calculate button in the Bearing frame.

4. To exit Grid Helper do one of the following:
	A. Click the Save button. This will save the current values
of all of the fields in a file named grids.ini, located in the
           windows directory.

	B. Click the Don't Save button to exit without saving the values in
	   the fields.

If you have saved the values in the fields when exiting, the next time you run
Grid Helper, the fields on the dialog will be loaded with the saved
	values.

Grid Helper was developed using the Microsoft Visual C++ Development System
on a 486 DX50 machine running Windows NT 3.5. The NT version of Grid Helper
was then converted to the windows version (this version) by recompiling with
the 16 bit version of Visual C++.
