Description
===========

This is the UNREGISTERED version.

This is a type of Favourite files expert add in.

It creates a cascading menu structure within the Delphi main menu system that link to delphi files within user definable directories. Any Sub-directories are then shown in sub-menus, clicking a menu item opens the relevant file in the IDE.

By setting up this expert to look at the root directory of your project produces a cascading menu to all the source files.

This is of course customisable to show/or not pascal files, packages, project files and files in sub directories (displayed in sub menus).

The menu structure can either appear within Delphi's File menu, after the Reopen item, or on a completely separate (user definable) main menu item.

This is an unregistered version of the expert and is for evaluation purposes only.
It has several restrictions over the registered version:
 - Use for commercial purposes is not allowed.
 - It has an evaluation period of 30 days, after which it does not function.
 - The parent menu item can only be set to the one of the default values.
 - A maximum of three 'Directory Menus' can be setup.

The registered version removes all these restrictions and is the only version available for commercial use. All registered users will be able to receive any updates with enhancements and/or bug fixes.

Known Issues
============
With the advent of dockable menu bars in Delphi 4 there is one minor issue with this expert. If it is set up to use it's own main menu item then on initial installation the Delphi main menu will not appear long enough (hiding the Help menu item). Clicking to the right of the menu or on the menus drag bar will cause the menu to size itself and appear properly from that time onwards.

Installation
============

The zip file contains a windows installation .inf file that can be used to install the expert into windows by right clicking the inf file and selecting install.

Manual installation can be achieved by
 - copying all the files into a folder called "experts" below your "Delphi 5" folder (default installation would be c:\program files\borland\delphi5\experts)
and
 - Open RegEdit from the run command, go to the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Delphi\5.0\Experts and add a string with the name "RJEXPERT5" and value pointing to the RJExpert5.dll in the "experts" directory.

This will automatically load the expert the next time you load Delphi.

Go to Tools|Configure RJ Expert... to setup the menu items.
