   5. FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS
   -----------------------------------------------------------------
The aspects of security are fore front in our approach
to the development of this component. We realise there
are certain people who make great efforts to rip off
software that developers have spent long hours of toil
to develop and therefore we have an ongoing commitment
to defeat these individuals. We have new concepts
in development which will be implmented into our component
in future releases which will create very different
approaches to the security of developers work.
Soon to be released will be a database incorporated into
the Keygen Application. This will enable developers to
keep a track of their software users, and will be free
   to registered users.

   7. HISTORY VERSION 1.01
   -----------------------------------------------------------------
The history at present is very brief. Application Locker
was originally developed for internal company use in 1997
as a way of protecting our own developments. We had looked
for a suitable means of potecting our investment in software
development, but found nothing suitable for our particular
needs. Due to the work we have been involved in since then
we had no need to continue developing the component. But
in the last few months, we have found our development
demands have changed, and that there was a need to use the
component more, but it needed to have more versatility. For
development speed thus cost reduction we needed the ability
to drop a component onto a form, and with a few mouse clicks
and a little typed entry, have an Application that was
   protected against unregistered use.

Therefore, we have spent a great deal of our time over the
past few months, making the necessary changes that make
Application Locker as versatile and easy to use as it now
is. As we feel there is a great importance in protecting
our developments, and realise there is much more that can
be added to Application Locker, we have decided to market
it. The reasons are, if it can produce revenue for our
Company, we can afford the time to develop it, thats it
in a nut shell. The user will get an excellent security
addition for thier developments, that is extremely easy and
quick to use, so almost zero development time spent adding
this themselves. All this at a very reasonable cost.
Application Locker has been developed with Delphi 4 and
has not been tested in Delphi 2,3 or 5. It should work
in these versions of Delphi, if not please let us know.
It will not work in Delphi 1.
