IMPORTANT NOTICE
================

This sample application uses the TDFSColorButton component (version 2.00). This is a freeware
component by Brad Stowers. This component must be installed before you can compile the sample
applications.

I have not included the component in the archive as many people will already have it (and if you
don't you should as it is an excellent component). The component can be found in the usual places
(eg Delphi Super Page and Torry's Delphi Pages --- links to both these can be found on my web
page at www.ideal.net.au\~lanei). The component in stored in an archive named bcolorbtn.zip.

DELPHI 2
========

If you are using Delphi 2, then before compiling the sample application you must the open the
forms 'frmMain', 'fmSettingsDialog' and frmAbout. When you open these files, Delphi will display
consecutive error messages advising that some properties are missing. Just click on the 'Ignore'
or 'Ignore All' button to disregard these messages. (They are a result of extra properties that
some components have under Delphi 3).

REGISTRY ENTRIES MADE BY THIS APPLICATION
=========================================

This application saves information to the Windows 95 registry. If you wish to remove this
application from your computer then you should delete the registry key

	HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ian Lane\Life

You may change the registry key used by this application by changing the RegistryKey constant
in the UOptions unit, then re-compiling the application.

SAMPLE FILE
===========
I have included a sample file named "Sample.dat" in the archive. This can be loaded into the
sample application when it is running using File|Open... from the menu. This pattern will
eventually stabilise into a periodically recurring pattern (when it is used with the standard
rules).
