WHAT'S NEW IN V-2.0 OF WEEKVIEW

<<Note: The new features of V-2.0 of WeekView will be appearing in Datebk3 very shortly. If you are a Datebk3 user and want to look at WeekView, you will have to pre-delete Datebk3 on your Pilot BEFORE downloading WeekView as these two programs can not co-exist>

Version 2.0d

* There is now an option that must be checked in the Option/Preferences to display Japanese Kanji characters as the optimization to display accents in V-2.0c now interferes with the hack that displays kanji characters

* A minor incompatibility with the Palm III has been corrected

Version 2.0c

* Accented characters are now displayed properly (top pixel row was clipped in prior versions)

* Changing the status of a todo item now properly sets the modified flag so the change is seen on HotSync

* Todo items have a hyphen after the priority rather than enclosing priority in parentheses

* A problem with the conduit for Outlook98 that causes the V-2 PalmOS to return invalid data which then causes a FATAL EXCEPTION error in V-2.0b has been sidestepped in this version.

Version 2.0b

* Incomplete, past-due Todo's are now displayed on today's date rather than the original due date in the past.

* An option was added to hide the priority number in the weekly view (it still displays in the details view)

* All Todo categories are now properly displayed in Todo Preferences, even when there are completely blank (i.e. unused) categories in between

Version 2.0a

* Todo's from the Todo database can now be selectively included in the Weekly View. Todo's can be checked off from within WeekView. A tap on a Todo item takes you directly to the Todo application with that event selected. Preference options control how completed or undated todo's are displayed.

* The application now displays the screen 3-5 times faster than the previous version

* A page/scroll feature now allows you to scroll the entire display to look at the next 'page' of events for the current week (when there are more events than can be displayed in the current view).

* A tap on the title bar now briefly displays the time and the week offset and then goes back to the regular title

* Today's date is now flashed several times on the screen making it much easier to locate

* A preference option makes it possible to hide daily repeat events

* By including ~HIDE~ in the note field for an event, you can force an event to be hidden from the display (useful for removing non-daily repeat events etc.).

* A preference option can now display the ending time in the Details dialog.
