Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of Quick Stats. This is a
very simple application that displays current information about your
PalmPilot. This program is designed to run on a US Robotics PalmPilot
Professional. I have not tested Quick Stats on PalmPilot 1000/5000 or
Personal. If you would like to try, please do, but I assume no
responsibility for what may occur.

Requirements:
------------------------
* PalmPilot Professional
* Palm OS 2.0 or above

Quick Stats Features:
------------------------
  * Pilot OS
	-- Version
	      * Including bug fixes
	-- Build Number

  * Pilot Mem
	-- Ram Size
	      * Total Ram in KB
	-- ROM Size
	      * Total ROM in KB
	-- Bytes Free
	      * Total Free ROM in KB

  * Network
	-- IP Address
	   * Current IP address of your Pilot

  * Time & Date
	-- Current Time and Date of your Pilot

How To's:
---------------------
Checking your Pilot's IP:

To get the IP of your Pilot you must first be connect or have the
ability to be connected to a Network. This means that your PalmPilot
must have the TCP/IP stack for this to work. Tap the 'Get IP' Button to
get the IP. If you are already connected to a network, your IP will be
returned. If your are not connected, Quick Stats will try and connect
you to the Network you have specified in the Network Profess panel. Once
your Pilot is connected your IP address will be returned.

** Note getting the IP address routines has only been tested on the
PalmPilot Professional. If you are not using the PalmPilot Professional
or do not have a TCP/IP stack on your pilot, this will not work.

What's Going On?
---------------------
Why is the Bytes free count always changing?

Well, it is because the pilot is always processing events. These events
require memory. The Bytes free shows the bytes free of the entire pilot.
This includes free ROM for database storage and free stack space for
application execution.

One Last Word:
---------------------
Please feel free to use Pilot Stats, give it to your friends, or use
it for entertainment. However please use it at your own risk. I do
not assume any responsibility for any information loss or damage to your
PalmPilot. Pilot Stats doesn't have a warranty. Pilot Stats is freeware,
treat it as such.
