Make "Punk" Bondage Pants
by Dogbomb

Now, as some of you may know, and some of you won't. I class myself
as a "punk".. and all "punks" make their own clothes (apparently)..
Here is how you can be "punk" too, by making the "punk" essential..
bondage pants! (or trousers.. but "punks" always call them pants)

Materials you will need:

Scissors
Chalk
Good sewing skills or someone who has them.
Pants of your choice, as sturdy as possible.
Any length and number of zips (I use 9...2 hip, 2 butt, 2 leg, 2 cargo,
and 1 crotch)
About a square yard of any pattern of THICK, STRONG fabric, leopard print
is fun. You probably will not use the whole yard.
Junk suspenders.
Extra Suggestion: instead of using suspenders for the straps...try using
nylon webbing. It doesn't stretch and it will hold pins, studs and spikes
much better.
You can pick this stuff up at fabric stores and sometimes better hardware
stores. its usally found in hardware stores near the d-rings and clips.

Four steel "O" rings (keychain rings work well).
Steel clips (Hardware stores sell them).
Rivets (optional, but cool).

First, take the pants you decided on, and put them on. Pinch the back of
the calves until the pants are as tight as you want them to be WHEN ZIPPED,
making sure the inseam is parallel with the outer seam. With chalk, mark
on the bottom seam of each leg on either side of the excess fabric, and
once at the top of the "triangle" of fabric you've pinched. Take the pants
off, take the chalk, and "connect the dots." You should now have drawn two
identical triangles in chalk on the backs of your bondage pants. Using
scissors, cut out the triangles along the INSIDE of the chalk lines
(otherwise it will be too tight).

Now, place the zips over the closed cuts, and sew the zips on. Open the
zips. Size two triangles of fabric to be a half-inch bigger on every
side than the triangle you cut out. Turn the pants inside out, and sew
the triangles to the pants at the edges of the fabric. The legs should
now zip shut tight, and open to reveal the fabric. Sew zips to the hip
and arse pockets of your jeans. If they are cargoes, you can tear off
the top flaps, and sew zips on them, too.

You can make cargo pockets by slicing a slit in the side of the pants
and sewing a zip on it, then turning them inside-out and sewing a square
of fabric on the inside (you can use rivets to secure the corners...and
it's a good idea). Make sure the top and sides of the square are long
enough to cover the zip and leave a little extra room past it.

If you want, cut the flap off that covers the fly on the front, and remove
the zip fly/buttons for button fly. Cut the crotch seam open down to
the inseam, and sew a LONG zip from the top of the fly to the inseam
(if the zip is too short, sew up the seam below it. Now you have a
half-crotch zip. If you're a girl, a homosexual/bisexual man, or a
straight guy who likes to moon people, you may want to extend your
seam slice and zip all the way to the back waistband, for a "full opening."

Finally, the straps. Cut four 2.5" strips of material off each side
of the suspenders (use the "short ends"), after taking them apart and
cutting off the buttonholes/clips. Turn the pants inside out, and mark
with chalk the four places where you want your bondage straps secured.
Cut the outseam of the pants along those marks, making sure only to
open the seam and not to cut the pants themselves. Double-stitch the
end of the 1.5" piece of suspender to just inside the open seam, then
loop the rest of the suspender through one of the keyrings. Double-stitch
the other end of the suspender, making a loop containing the ring, and
sew the seam back up, making sure the ring is on the OUTSIDE of the
pants. These rings will secure your bondage straps.

Take the rest of the suspenders, and trim to the size you'd like. On
each end, attach a steel clip by putting the end of the suspender
through the loop, folding it over and double-stitching it down (rivets
work, too). Clip the straps to the rings.

YOU HAVE MADE BONDAGE PANTS. You officially rule. If you'd like, sew
on patches, add more straps, zips, pockets, whatever you like. The
possibilities are limited only by your budget and the size of the
pants. Have fun!
