Article Submission
by Zildjian

This is a slightly easier way to show what the articles will look like.

If you look at the source of this file you will see I've commented some
areas that can be altered by yourself.

Before we start though a quick note. Any alterations before the and after
the comments will NOT change the layout!!! So no touchy touchy.

BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000066;
This isn't to difficult to follow. This is the background colour. I've
set it at #000066 in this example. This can be anything from #000000
to #FFFFFF. You can also use the colour names like Aqua, Yellow and Pink

If you want to use something less boring than plain colours, you can
replace the BACKGROUND-COLOUR command with this...

BACKGROUND-IMAGE: url(art_images/mybackground.jpg);

All images used in GV will be going in a art_images directory so
reference any images you have to that directory for us. And also
try and use an original filename for it!

BORDER-LEFT: #FFFFFF 2px solid;
BORDER-TOP: #FFFFFF 2px solid;

These two commands are the borders above and to the left of this text.
You can see they use the hex code colours, and you can change these
to anything you like once again. The 2 px reference is simply how wide
they are and SOLID means there are, well, solid. >

">
This is the last line, and once again, no touching this or you'll
screw all up!

You can use any typeface that comes with Windows as standard. From
memory (and it's rusty), these are installed.

Tahoma - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Impact - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Verdana - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Arial - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Trebuchet MS - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
MS Sans Serif - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Courier - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

That's all I can think of at the moment. Not exactly rocket science.
Once your done, cut out the bit from the start and end comments and
email it to us. If you have any images, put it all in a zip and email
it to the editors.

Use common sense with your colours. Red on a blue background isn't the
easiest thing to read! Don't want it looking like a fucking GeoCities
web site now do we :)

This site has no known problems to date. Tested under MSIE 6, Opera 7.23,
Netscape 7.1, Mozilla 1.6 and Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1
