Printpar was created from scratch by Hkon Lvdal 1997-1998.

During the development of printpar the fdisk program from the util-linux
package and the partition split program FIPS was used as references.
Fdisk is (C) A. V. Le Blanc <LeBlanc@mcc.ac.uk> and others. FIPS is (C)
Arno Schaefer <schaefer@rbg.informatik.th-darmstadt.de> and others.

Thanks to Harvey Fishman <fishman@panix.com> for notifying me that
printpar didn't handle more than 8 partitions correct.

Thanks to Vidar Haugsvr <vidar@gs.bergen.hl.no> for suggesting html output.

Thanks to Peter Miller <millerp@canb.auugorg.au> for writing the paper
"Recursive Make Considered Harmful" (available at
http://www.tip.net.au/~millerp/rmch/recu-make-cons-harm.html).
Changing from several makefiles into one single really simplified and
speeded up the make process, but most importantly it is now 100% correct.
Software developers, do read the above mentioned document!

And of course huge thanks to Richard Stallman, Linus Torvalds and all
the other writers of free software.
