Welcome to the official server of The Packware Project. We are glad to see
you here and hope you will find our stuff useful.

The Packware  Project consist of three parts:

    1. Packware, an advanced packaging tool for Slackware Linux,
    2. pwbuilder, a complete Slackware packages building system,
    3. a huge set of unofficial packages for Slackware Linux.

Our packages are built for Slackware Linux 8.1 in three architectures: i386,
i586 and i686. We are alse going to support Slackware 9.0 as soon as we get
more disk space on a box we use for building.
