Xref: usenet.cise.ufl.edu comp.lang.perl.announce:158 comp.lang.perl.modules:2558 I have uploaded MIME-Base64-2.00 to CPAN. This module is call compatible with the MIME::Base64 module distributed with libwww-perl, but since it is implemented by XS-functions it runs about 20 times faster. The next release of libwww-perl will not contain the MIME::Base64 and MIME::QuotedPrint modules. http://www.perl.com/cgi-bin/cpan_mod?module=MIME::Base64 -- Gisle Aas .
