Xref: usenet.cis.ufl.edu comp.lang.perl.announce:308 comp.lang.perl.misc:26026 HERE it is! For all of you folk who have a need to bang up against databases via ODBC on the win32 platform, here is an extension that will do it. This extension is based on Dan DeMaggio's Fun_With_Perl.zip and provides new/improved functionality than either his or IODBC.EXE. Some of the features: - The number of ODBC connections are limited only by memory and ODBC itself (have as many as you want!) - The working limit to the size of a field is 10240 bytes but you can increase that limit (if needed) to a max of 102400. You can always recompile to increase the max limit. - You can open a connection by either specifing a DSN or a connection string! - You can open and close the connections in any order! - Catalog functions!! -Drivers list. -Data Source list. -Table/Query list. - Other things that I can not think of right now.... :) It has been uploaded and verified on CPAN or you can grab it from ftp://ftp.infowire.com/pub/ntperl/NTodbc_v0.5.zip This has been tested on WinNT 3.51 ussp3 only. Read the README.TXT file first!!!!!!
