The easiest way is using a CD-ROM of Red Hat Linux for the SPARC. Simply drop the CD in your drive and at the PROM prompt type "boot cdrom" and you should be presented with an install. If you are unable to do that for some reason, you can boot via the network. To boot from the network, you will need to setup a combination of RARP, ARP, TFTP, NFS, and BOOTP servers to get the kernel to the SPARC and mount the root filesystem from. This is covered in the Red Hat Manual. ============================================================================ SUPPORT For those that have web access, see http://www.redhat.com.
