Here is some short doc, how to use povgem30 (next version with some bugs and nasty 'features' removed will be available asap) At first - it is *not* the shell to pov. (however shell for pov3 is under development). It is only the GEM interface, so you can see the rendering picture in the GEM window (or on separate screen in the future). Actually the APP should be the GTP - you have to use it as previous versions of pov22.ttp. So the most common options are: -i - name of scene +d - display picture +v - verbose info +c - continue interrupted rendering Other options you can see in 'TOS console' window after launching POV without parameters. There is also povray.ini file in the main directoy and you can set some of the options in this file. Its possible that you will have to set there the library path. TIP: Install POV under desktop as follow: Parameters: +d +c +v +i (it fits exactly into input field - good) Application: POV main dir: application file: full path TIP2: try to use option +SP32 To quit from POV you have to select Quit from Options menu and wait to the end of line. Then close both windows to exit from application (It will be changed in the future). enjoy, best regards, Szymon. .
