Due to past compromises of FSF machines, and the desire to insure that
all downloads from the FSF's ftp server can be authenticated, all new
files placed on ftp.gnu.org must have a GNU GPG detached signature.

We are awaiting a detached GPG signature for bash 3.0 from Chet Ramey,
and as soon as we have received one, we will place bash 3.0 up on
ftp.gnu.org.  We expect to receive a detached signature from Chet on
Monday, 2004-08-02.
