Short Doc's...

This utillity offers the following features :


    - Convert files for all current known copiers.

    Supported copiers are :

    - Super Magicom (SMC)

    - Multi Game Doctor (MGD/MGD2)

    - General binary images

    - Get info on cartridge

    Super NES cartridges include some additional info, that some-

    times comes useful  (e.g. if you don't know the game's name).

    - Split and join files.

    The new Magicom operating system  (v 3.0 and higher) supports

    cartridges, that are split into multiple parts.

    While most other tools  only allow to split large files in up

    to two parts of equal size, STOOL gives you a very convenient

    way to split files into up to nine parts. This enables you to

    fill up the lasting 4 MBit of your 1.6 MByte disks , allready

    containing one 8MBit game.

    Join these files again to upload them to a friend or BBS.


  For instructions on how to use STOOL, simply run the program without

  any parameters given.

                        1 -> ROM + RAM

                        2 -> ROM + Back-up RAM

7fd7   ROM Size (power of 2)

                for example : 16 MBit -> 11 (2^11)

7fd8   RAM Size (see ROM size)

7fd9   Maker Code (2 bytes)

7fdb   Version Number

7fdc   Complement of Checksum (2 bytes)

7fde   Checksum


Note: for Super Magicom files add $200 (512) bytes to offset
