Lots of statistics: larger IPv6 user base is in India, with 44% of the world's IPv6 users! Je désesperais récemment sur l'état de non-maintenance de Plumble (client Mumble pour Android), complètement abandonné et pas mis à jour depuis 2016 sur F-Droid et depuis 2014 sur Google Play. Globalement ça marche mais il y a des bugs/plantages récurrents et l'interface n'est pas toujours intuitive.Hé bien je viens d'apprendre qu'il a été forké récemment \o/ et déjà dispo dans F-Droid (bon, pour l'instant, pas de différence visible).https://gitlab.com/quite/mumla/https://mumla-app.gitlab.io/#mumble

MOX is a "router as a sandwich" ;)The base board is quite simple and small (a bit like a raspberrypi).There are then several boards that you assemble together, like lego. There are modules with SFP, with a gigabit switch, with a Wi-Fi card, etc.#ripe76

D'un tempérament curieux, elles se spécialisent dans les questions fondamentales de l'informatique.Hier dimanche 23 octobre, c'était l'anniversaire des France Telecom. Nostalgiques mais passionées, elles ont un sens du service public particulièrement développé.

Conclusion du 🧵: structurellement, le train coûte beaucoup moins cher que la voiture. Mais pour une transition massive de la #voiture vers le #train, il manque deux choses :1) se débarrasser du modèle de possession de la voiture, parce qu'il pousse à utiliser sa voiture autant que possible. L'autopartage, dont #Citiz, est la bonne solution.2) rendre le train plus abordable, pour qu'il devienne même moins cher que le coût marginal de la voiture. Divisons le prix du #train par deux !9/9

Fun fact: hard disk vendors count in GB (gigabyte), but memory vendors count in GiB (gibibyte).If you buy a 1 TB disk, you will get 1000000000000 bytes (approximately: one of mine exposes 1000204886016 bytes). That means only 931.5 GiB!If you buy a "16 gig" memory module, it actually has 17179869184 bytes. That's exactly 16 GiB = 2^34 bytes!Are memory vendors more honest than disk vendors? Probably not a good explanation. Memory is lower-level so maybe powers of 2 make more sense there.
