Gentoo is launching their own competitor to Arch's AUR, called GURU. It'll be a separate repository of packages maintained by "the community". (the most loaded term of our time, imo)It's a somewhat smart move, for a distro that's losing relevance and has a small labor pool. I think users will like it.My ebuilds stay on my machine, though. I'm done working for distributions for free.

@fribbledom Hell yeah, that's the way to go. 😃I didn't start holding onto boxes and manuals until the mid to late '90s, and with all the moving I did it was difficult to keep them from damage. Most of my boxes have survived really well, and have been well worth the effort to preserve them when it came time to sell. Collectors *love* getting a complete game, even if it's not 100% mint. I even hold onto the little Nintendo Power and safety bullshit they include, just in case some weird collector cares about it.

This version of #MetroidPrime is the initial release, which has an exploit that allows you to get the Space Jump as your first item on Tallon IV, skipping an entire backtracking portion from Phendrana.It's also possible with a triple bomb jump, but that means going to the Chozo Ruins and back... More #pleroma failure. This time all I did was try to log in. v0.9.9999.The red text happens when I try to login. The only reason this post is possible is because Fedilab had a stored login on my phone.
