@alexbuzzbee @IslandUsurper I always found it easier to just write dynamic arrays and iterators in C rather than thinking about pointers and allocating/freeing list nodes... :thinking_rms:

My father just lost 14 hours of rendering due to Windows 10 automatic update and system restart... If he doesn't have 2 more days to do the work he might as well lost a lot of money on this incident. Is there anybody that have experience with DaVinci Resolve or Lightworks (and yes, we tried Kdenlive but that's not an option for the 4k footage he works with) and potentially did some advance subtitling with either of them? #help #linux #videoediting

I still can't stand that I need an app for everything... Why do you even buy a domain if all you have on your site is "Download our app from XXX store". For fuck sake, I want to do shit on a computer not a 6" screen half covered wirh in app ads.

About a year ago, my parents made the switch to Linux on their home machines because they really hated Win 10... Today I got a call from my mother to help her out with something, but I did not expect that "something" will be figuring out a sed pattern for a shell script she wrote to bulk rename files.When I asked her why she didn't use some GUI program she said "I was an accountant in the DOS era, this makes more sense to me than a ribbon menu in Excel".
