I'm thrilled to share with you a sneak peek of our latest project here at #Universeodon: TuskShield, an automated moderation toolset that we have been working on for the past few months.TuskShield includes a range of features such as notification, fraud checks, spam checks, and more. We recently completed a refactor of the toolset, and we're excited to share a screenshot of the report notifications going to Discord (one of many opts). Our vision for this project is to offer a free service during an invite-only beta to other #MastodonAdmin's. We want to work together to create a safer, more inclusive online community. We believe in the power of #Mastodon to lead the way in responsible online behavior, and we're committed to supporting you in this mission.We understand that moderation is a crucial but often-overlooked aspect of community building. With TuskShield, we hope to make it easier for MastodonAdmins to focus on building a thriving online community, while we help make moderation easier.With that our long-term goal is to turn TuskShield into a SaaS offering that can help support the costs of running our infrastructure. This SasS offering will have multiple tiers, and offer various features at the different tiers. And yes...there will be a free tier for the smaller Mastodon server owners!

@stuxAs someone who lives in Texas, yes -- there are parts of Texas that are that way! Thankfully the majority of the population lives in the Cities and are not like that!

@stux great! how are you solving it?it sounds like your team also has tools too. Ive written a mess of things for Universeodon around moderation, spam detection, and automated reporting.I am working on a model rjght now that scores messages based on spam and reports automatically for human reviewim also creating an RBL for abusive IPscurious if there is anything we can do to help each other

@stux would it be possible to provide a few of the IPs that were sending DM spam? I would love to see what our checks pick up.I will provide you with full output of our tools and see if it would have made any impact
