       Très jolie nouvelle : le mémoire de master de Myriam Jouhar, défendu brillamment en septembre 2022, est désormais disponible en ligne : https://sonar.ch/hesso/documents/323062Le point de départ du mémoire était de combler un vide : préserver les jeux vidéo c&#39;est bien, mais que faut-il préserver ?Comme étude de cas, Myriam a suivi pendant plusieurs mois la création du jeu vidéo Lausanne 1830. Elle propose dans son travail une analyse et des pistes pour agir et penser la préservation des jeux dès la création.

       Today I realised that my @ORCID_Org page missed my most recent works. I went to my university academic repo, clicked on the recent entries, chose &quot;export to orcid&quot;, and that was it. They appeared immediately on my orcid profile.It took me literally 30 seconds, and now I want to invest the time spared to write this toot.        @bfluzin as someone in his 40s, it is so easy to minimise or forget about the people impacted by this. A few generations will have lived in hell, maybe even stoping taking public transportations in the last part of their lives because of non-age-inclusive digitisation.

       When studying the history of video games, we often find ourselves needing to imagine and reconstruct the computing landscape of various decades throughout the 20th Century.We encounter fragments of computing history since games were always present somewhere (at least that&#39;s what Steven Levy says in his book Hackers, and in my experience it often turns to be true). Well, I&#39;m always a bit overwhelmed when I think of the 1976 Los Alamos Conference&#39;s 21 recorded talks recently put online: https://computerhistory.org/blog/computings-woodstock/Were there games on these early computing machines, across different countries?
