Well it didn't take me three days to find this missing wire that was preventing CLKDIV from functioning on #Tangnano4k . Just like a detective:)Too bad I didn't make it to February, but I got it to work on GW1N-1, GW1NZ-1, GW1NSR-4C. Only two boards left.#apicula #fpga

@EdS Well I have GW1N-4 and GW1N-9 chips on the agenda since Tangnano20k kinda works with CLKDIV since last year😉

@art reasonable👍 I don't understand laptops, they're like toys. The DeepCool Tesseract tower has served me for over 11 years and the upgrade options are a bit better than laptops 😜

Hmm... I guess I should update my #DragonflyBSD until this patch is accepted, and look out for other BSDs in the next couple of yearsIt's not really about /dev/crypto - I just felt a cold whiff when a device is removed in exchange for a library - no matter how slow it is, it's still a universally easy way to access functionality. Everything is a file, etcAnd it doesn't matter what it's currently being used for - the whole point of the device is access from everywherehttps://leaf.dragonflybsd.org/~mneumann/0001-Retire-crypto-9-and-tcplay-8-and-refactor-dm_target_.patch

Again, it's not about that unfortunate /dev/crypto - it's just not a good sign of a change in ideology.

From the trivial - a simple protective grille for an 80mm fan in #FreeCAD for printing from... I think PETG just in case.😜 #3dprinting

@art This is the most ridiculous part of Git. It's precisely because of this that I avoid making PRs in Yosys at all costs — you download the release -> there's no ‘.git’ directory, you take all the source code -> some swearing at ABC.It's such a loss of momentum and a productivity killer.I have a way to compile the current HEAD of Yosys, but I won't tell you about it so you don't die laughing. 🤣

@tregeagle The nature of this fear is interesting. If you think about it, our ancestors who survived were those who had the sense to stay away from such things :)

I managed to squeeze #FreeBSD +ZFS +full disk encryption onto a machine with 512M of memory and a 5G hard drive.😜 As usual, ARC didn't give a damn about the maximum memory limit of 128M.🤣

The printed parts are practically empty inside, so I don't worry about angularity and volume :) It is precisely with fine details that all kinds of problems begin for a slicer that has no manoeuvrability - let's say, with a wall thickness of 1 mm and a nozzle of 0.4, there will be effects😜 #3dprinting
