       @actuallyautistic @actuallyautistics I recently picked a playlist on YouTube Music and accidentally pressed in the wrong part and it started playing the songs in a random order.I was irritated and restarted the playlist so that it would play in order.I was thinking "yep, another autistic trait." I don't like my playlists playing in a random order, or my albums for that matter. If I want to listen to a whole album, I don't ask for the songs in a random order. I want them in the order the band chose.I guess this is a desire for repeatability and predicability.I'm able to listen to songs in a random order, but then that means essentially playing a "radio" or something similar. That's fine, but when I have a playlist or an album I want it in order, dammit! 🤬 🤣

       Well, I talked to my #father. It was so uplifting. What with him dismissing my #autism by repeating the platitude that "everybody is a little #autistic." I'm wondering if he is refusing my self-diagnosis out of some sense that if he accepts my diagnosis, then this would mean that he failed me as a child. 🤔Newsflash: he did fail me as a child, and I already know this, autism or not.Yep, my legs were tingling with #anxiety. (I call it anxiety-induced paresthesia. Yes, it is a thing.
