       @sirI do this all the time on my NixOS (https://nixos.org/) setup: I use `nix-shell -p <PACKAGES>` to drop into a shell with the packages installed. After leaving the shell they are not in my path anymore and are garbage collected once a month (cached until then in case I use them again).This is something I miss a lot on other distros.

       @sirWhich provider are you using for this? I am currently looking into a backup server with lots of storage as well.
