a friend i used to live with called me up yesterday and said it was really good to talk to me because i wasn't suspicious of them.they are losing their housing situation and everyone else they know suspects some kind of ulterior motive for every interaction, and will preemptively warn them to not ask for help.but i got basically nothing, and am imminently homeless myself, so i couldn't help even if they did ask. so we could talk freely without concern for appearances.anyway fuck capitalism

one of my deepest fears is losing another friend or comrade to relapse or overdose. please, support your loved ones, and understand that addiction is not a choice, it is a coping mechanism built into everyone's biology.it's about having no other way to survive, no other way to escape suffering. and in the end, the main driver of human suffering is capitalism. it crushes us all, and we look for a way out. drugs are always there when there's nothing else left.to end it we must win.
