Interview over. It lasted fifteen minutes. She said, point blank "your application form was great, so I'll hire you just based on that alone."She was a really nice person, I think I might enjoy working there. ☺ Also, she only expects me to come in once a week. @ghostlyashI wholly agree with you. It is obvious that Thurrott here, despite his deep knowledge of the tech industry, just cannot fathom how to use Mastodon, and indeed, sees it's falling metrics as a "bad sign". It would be a bad sign... If Mastodon was a profit-driven growth-oriented corporation. If anything, it's a *good* sign because it means that the people who stay behind are those who are genuinely engaged with the platform.

@izaya @ghostlyashTotally. I think @thurrott is full of shit. If he doesn't wanna stay, that's his perogative. But to claim it's a dead platform because it won't go mainstream is total cockamamie. Dwarf Fortress isn't mainstream, but it's certainly popular (and profitable).
