@igel @design_RG @a1batross This is quite interesting. Reactions. Facebook users will feel right at home. The system feels light and fast -- Pleroma engine in machine room doing it's usual great work, and some inovative Front end ideas in Soap Box.Thanks @igel for the service. I am preparing a new blog post about Pleroma Instance recommendations and should mention your site.

@design_RG @igel @a1batross And curious reporter that I am, taking screenshots and mental notes as I look around, push the buttons, try things. Attachments :1. Home screen and the simplest display of Feeds I have ever seen.2. Composing a Reply (this one) looks like this. Again - very readable, very usable. The SoapBox FE seems to have huge potential for new users. Congrats to Alex G.#FediReporter #rgxJournal #Pleroma

@design_RG @a1batross @igel Collecting more screenshots, project has been upgraded to a full Blog Post for SoapBox FE. Deserved, and I think it will do really well -- the simplicity of the interface, controls, posting and replying will win over any newcomer.Eugen should pay attention!#FediReporter on the beat.

@realcaseyrollins @igel @design_RG @alex Alex is going to win over many many new users -- I am impressed.Honestly. For a new user coming from FB, I have not seen anything easier to adapt to. Kudos are in order!Excellent design, simplicity while using the underlying much superior Pleroma back end.I am giving up on Mastodon, tired of the project's tight control and lack of innovation. Still like GlitchSocial, but it's much slower than all the Pleroma instances I have tried.Eugen could really look and consider ideas, but. You know. 😉 #FediReporter for #UI #UX improvements.

@alex Like this neat little thing I just noticed -- after replying to your post, in the notifications panel -- the little Thumbs Up Reaction button gets a little animation.Twisting a bit, incentivating a reaction. Wow. It will lead to more responses/interactions indeed.@design_RG @igel @realcaseyrollins

@igel -- is the system running the instance a Pi ? Curious since the stats site appeared to have that suggested by the page name. It runs quite well, very responsive.

@realcaseyrollins Oh. look who's here, there and Everywhere. 😜 Welcome Casey! Just added this instance to my wondrous Pinafore instances list. Works well, Pina. This instance is quite interesting, nice to see new ideas in a project. Will be writing a blog sometime soon about it.

@realcaseyrollins It's an incredible story -- and it all started when you mentioned Opal's website on a message to me.I was digging all over my system to find it, had visited and wanted to see her list of Pleroma recommended instances, as I am writing a blog with assorted listings. Then I found a Misskey instance in the list, came and see -- and it's this one, now a Pleroma / SoapBox one.Which is quite uncommon and interesting.HUGE thank you for mentioning Opal's page.It even led me to discovering that Todon was blocking Qoto, and go on a diplomatic mission there.
