For iOS, I imagine?I use Pinafore extensively, and the web clients in some instances — for Pleroma ones I prefer the native FE I am learning to use and has some modern touches, ideas.For Android users, Fedilab Lite is a good option too.

@a1batross @fosstodon @mastik Yeah - I agree, it does have a bit of a creepy feel to it.Strange, for someone who would rather sit at their one instance and point a telescope at the neighbour’s lounge. I love traveling, meeting people, seeing new places; and the fediverse is so rich in all of those. The local admin there is the opposite way, and said he added that to suit me. Wrongly, as I would rather join an instance and meet the locals, see their posts and post with a local account too.Easy to do with a nice client. Pinafore does it well, switch instances with one single click. Bam, now there.

@Sphinx There’s one near me, and I was there once, Nice store, some cool gear on display. MS Store sold clean machines, without bloatware. If they are closing, that is a loss.

@redneonglow @GNUxeava I was surprised once, found a laptop at a thrift store, bought it. And it had Vista on, ran very well - and looked very pretty too.That machine is now out and in use again, now with Windows 10 latest and running equally well.

@redneonglow @GNUxeava I was never a fan of eye candy and transparency - prefering solid backgrounds for speed in display and less visual confusion.For me the simplification in win 8 and later was a step in the right direction, closer to what I used myself. I avoided Vista and Win 7, mostly for that personal preference, and enjoyed Windows Server configured as a Workstation. Power, speed, stability - and no eye candy needed for me. 🙂❤✔
