@nextcloud sorry, no. Many self hosting softwares phone home as much as anything else, but you also have to configure them/your network and maintain opsec or else you'll just get pwned. Self-hosting potentially can be great for privacy, but it isn't a silver bullet

@Zergling_man most of the time i have issues it's my fault. synapse is not that unreliable, and i see plenty of several thousand member rooms and HSs working just fineIt's just that i have been running dendrite and conduit and dont know anything 😩
