#introduction as it seems like a good idea.I'm InfoSec student & intern. I write Python scripts for whatever people want from me.I'm a big Megadeth fan. I like old CoD games and Quake. Though I suck at Quake.I wish to post mostly about Linux and cybersecurity but wouldn't limit it to those.

#snap packages been a controversial topic in #linux community for some time now. Now, I'm not the most "competent" person when it comes to package management, but I think almost everyone would agree when I say no Linux based operating system should force its users to use a closed sourced package manager out of the box.Just doesn't make any sense to me.

@seb I didn't know this existed and the triple of flatpak, appimage and snap confused me! Makes a lot of sense there would be a GUI manager.

Have to develop a game for a class and man is it hard! I guess I will get to call it "experience" in the end but I'm sure I don't want a future in that field...

Just found something called "lsd" which is a replacement for one of the most basic GNU/Linux commands: "ls"https://github.com/Peltoche/lsdUsually I'd think why would I want to replace something that I'm so accustomed to, but... it has color and little symbols!!

Just switched from Manjaro to Fedora. It was always on my mind to try Fedora & GNOME 42. So far? Nothing wrongAlso trying to use Fish shell. What I liked about it was its simple syntax + Unlike with zsh I didn't have to use plugins and whatnot to get some features like syntax highlighting. Feels & looks great
