LPNF Arroyo SecoLos Padres NFHunter Ligget, Mission Creek, Arroyo Seco and Carmel, south to north. CalFire has several stations on the 101. This end of Carmel Valley has more dramatic slope and a lot of camping activity. The vegetation is much different than Placer, Auburn and El Dorado. Fire behavior is also different in character, but no less dangerous. IMTs should be able to count on fully staffed engines, but make do with mutual aid, like everybody else.

Cult of Osprey Air TankerThe US Marines have this weird obsession with using MV-22 Ospreys as air tankers. This KC-130J "Raider 30" could, theoretically, provide air to air refueling for MV-22s performing helitack and bambi bucket water drops. Its a long shot on this ground, but the capability would be adaptable to a wide array of stations.
