@comrade_lecter interesting. ultimately, where my association between queerness and paraphilias started was the presence of exclusive objectum and and fictosexual people in asexual spaces, because “asexual when it comes to humans/living beings” is still entirely asexual in the eyes of common society. autosexuality is another paraphilia that falls on the asexual spectrum, too.

shoutout to other pedos not romantically attracted to children. romantic attraction doesn’t make someone suddenly more moral than someone without it. just being sexually attracted doesn’t mean a lack of respect for the people you’re attracted to. romantic attraction isn’t proof you see someone as equal. idk, I’ve seen some weird implications out there in the community that people are making when trying to emphasize they’re just like everyone else.

@tavi I’m certainly into it. There’s definitely people who aren’t into cartoons though, plus those who are morally against or disturbed by it because humans are complicated.

@comrade_lecter yeah. putting emphasis on the fact it refers to the past still doesn’t change the fact that a category of people defined by an event when they were a baby… doesn’t create the meaningful category people think it does. people use it to mean having a vagina, being perceived as female, or whatever they decide
