@amiloradovsky this combinatorics logic part kinda reminded me of ladder logic , I once read about , just saying :)

@amiloradovsky I was fascinated by it till i thought about numerical computationJit was new to me tooIt didn't last long , I am aware, neovim and vlc are using it to name.a few , that doesn't make it rust

@amiloradovsky that can be Said for many strategies of resource allocation for computation, I mean that's what economics is about

@amiloradovsky Tldr - it was a scientist who invented a hybrid rice , which fed the starving populus in the drought brought in by the policies of Mao ( cultural revolution or the big leap idk)======So unless they need something for their life which only technology can get them , without which the number of plebs deployed just doesn't countWhere d industrial revolution ve been , without the world understanding the idea of steam engine or empirical formula of water , alchemy alone was not enough for that?Warfare wouldn't be been a anywhere without atom bomb radar telegraph.... even revolver , bicycle

@amiloradovsky noted with thanks. I was also having a similar realisation about my fascination with static typed , lazy eval, strict haskell.. esp as i liked physics in early days.So long as one can instantiate the type they write , they need not test separate proofs . It's close to , how in early physics, one need not memorize formulae, besides natural empirical proportions ( i d call that understanding the explanation, with diagrams) , rest you can derive on your own , practice it, till you need not recollect it. You are marked for your mathod , rather than just getting correct answers , in numericals.Significant difference or so, that physics approximated heavily, but here too we ve algebraic effects which are useful to the point of being inevitable in some cases. Also i checked here are the reviews https://mod.projectcatalyst.io/review/1001549

@amiloradovsky I have questions as well and I am trying to ask and get answers , just about FP though. I had questions about elections and the way system works ( for one bigtech is dumping unsecure PE illegally into market , leading to a recssion) , but the answer there was dark comedy , to depressive for my taste

In contrast to commodity systems, RedLeaf does not rely on hardware address spaces for isolation and instead uses only type and memory safety of the #Rust language. Departure from costly hardware isolation mechanisms allows us to explore the design space of systems that embrace lightweight fine-grained isolation.RedLeaf is designed as a microkernel system in which a collection of language domains implement functionality of the system: kernel subsystems, device drivers, and user applications.#RedLeaf provides a Floyd-Hoare-style modular verification (i.e., based on pre-conditions, post-conditions, and loop invariants) for low-level systems that are designed to be fast and small. It achieves that by developing a new verification toolchain built on the SMACK verifier, Boogie intermediate verification language, and Z3 SMT solver.https://mars-research.github.io/projects/redleaf/

@me i ve experience the same and its entirely different from fb , gmail, even phone , esp quora or even parts of real life market place which at times seem paid dating apps They re smart enough to seem real enough to manipulate you into thinking that uts about who/where/the way you re.Although i must admit twitter of dorsey post 2016 used to be somewhat like fedi , in context of how people interacted So yes fedi is more about discovering/ distributing sub-cultures than discovering content / opportunities

Don't use haveged. Virtual machines should simply get their initial entropy from the already-seeded urandom pool of their hypervisor host. Processes don't "hang waiting for more entropy"; they hang because /dev/random inexplicably goes on strike. The answer to that problem is "never use /dev/random".#virtualization #randomness #Linux https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11625681
