@katp32 it's a system designed, not for efficiency, but to force users into Big Internet, to subscribe to societal norms by using the familiar. The harder they make it on the little people, the fewer will want to attempt to stand outside of their system.

@cy @pzmyers in the "evangelical" groups, I'd largely agree with this, but disagree on the whole.I'm a Christian who fucks up on a regular basis (I threw that cuss in there for shits and giggles because words are just words), but I'm also a hopeful universalist. Christians like me, unfortunately, aren't very common.

@cy In the example I saw earlier, these were their own tweets, just auto-shared to the fed, and that was their entire account. I just shook my head.Most of the pol toots I have filters for. I come here for a good time, not an annoyed time.
