@hyde @bbbhltz I'm in the "#obsidian with #vim editing turned on" camp for notes, after spending years trying to wrangle #vimwiki into working for me. I have a bunch of different vaults for different things, most of which I sync between personal devices with #Syncthing

@boilingsteam The steam deck takes it for me because its good on so many different axis at once. * The form factor is as close to perfect (for me) as I've seen.* Its a full on gaming PC, but a portable* It (finally) did the work to bridge the gap for gaming on Linux. So many "Windows Only" games "just work" on the Steam deck. And that's a boon, even for people that don't own one.* For people that just want to play, it can. For people that want to tinker, it can.

@dick_turpin Ansible has been a big part of my day-job for the better part of 7 years now. I picked up the book early on to get my head around how thing were modeled. Largely, you can do it however you like, but there are some big benefits to aligning with community standards. Namely, its easier to find compatible things and get help

@dick_turpin Why is this so hard for people to understand? Like, unless your company has a BYOD policy, its not "yours". And, even if they do, when you agree to it, there are conditions you agreed to meet.
