Re prev: How is this anywhere near enough? Is there not a law against this kind of very deliberate undermining of the governmental process? Or of making statements in people's names on that scale. Forget fines, these companies should be sued for damages enough to utterly bankrupt them and have all the data they hold destroyed before it can be sold to the highest bidder to make up those costs, so that the sick bastards who authorized this *must* actually be hurt by it. Maybe you can't destroy the ISPs, so fine the hell out of them and forbid them from offloading that as charges to their consumers. And nuke their lobbyists.

Woops, latest foobar2000 preview broke playback of loads of wav files! Least on my machine with the x86 version. Not a clue why, he didn't even say anything had changed on that front, and preview 2025-05-31 still works. Weird.

#AudioMo day 19: Sorry for my absence, we were on vacation but unfortunately didn't get the chance to really record anything to put here. So now I'm pulling things up from the archives. This here is a ringtone I made in 2020 called Unify, inspired by a patch from Soundspot's Union called "Big Pants Lead," which I'm using as the chord patch here. For how simple it is, just the chords, a bass and some drums, all pretty basic, this thing is ridiculously catchy IMO. My mom still uses this as her phone's ringtone to this day.You can get this ringtone for yourself, in iPhone or Android format, at https://x0box.xyz/uploads/ringtones

I just submitted a feature request to #NVDA regarding creation of a more useful mechanism for editing the configuration on secure screens, to replace or augment the current clunky and all-or-nothing settings copy feature. Please give it some love! I don't think @NVAccess actually partakes in the whole vote with thumbs-ups to increase priority, but doing so might serve as a useful metric for how widely desired this is anyway, which could theoretically help with triage. If anyone who sees this is skilled and willing enough to actually turn this into a pull request, I would be very greatful! Otherwise, hopefully someone at NVAccess will take it up! It's about time we got a more useful means of customizing that other layer of NVDA.https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues/18303#NVDASR #blind
