So I haven't been tootin much lately since I was busy. The good news is it's because I got the job I talked in my last life update toot.To cut it short, I'm a junior linux admin in an linux/open-source team of a large corporation(I know, I know but corporations do have some upsides and there is a strong union). The pay is amazing, the benefits list looks like a novel and I get to do what Iove, on a massive scale. Really hit the jackpot considering I just finished uni.

@selea @redstarfish Distro package maintaners are the ones packanging it.If some distro stops shipping something as big as OBS due to it not having an offical distro-specific package, people shouldn't use that distro anyway.I mean if a project doesn't have the manpower to package major software, it doesn't have the manpower to keep the distro secure, simple as that.Of course, Debian is certainly big enough that it doesn't have those problems and will ship OBS either way

Croatia's import tax on sugar-free energy drinks is over 3x higher than the most espensive bracket of the sugareted sodas and 10x as regualar coffee.And we wonder why a quarter of our country is obese.(I mean bad eating habits and alcoholism doesn't help)

@joel There are plenty of good choices on linux, including VirtualBox.Gnome Boxes is a simple but limited VM solution and if you want something more customizable yet with a nice gui there's KVM+Virt manager

@selea I have the privledge of having documentation from the interbal red hat partner archive as well as my companies internal docs.Can't imagine how people do anything with just the official docs

@fatboy My teenage years were marked by the height of display technology being those early giant plasma TVs 3m long.Not sure how many K's you need to get a really clear picture on one of those but I fully support the obscene quality upscaling even if the awnser for why is simply because we can

@murtezayesil When not using it, lean it against something vertically.When using it put a dummy keyboard or simply something warm next to you and the cats will usually use that instead.Unless the cat wants your attention, in that case there is no help.

Moved to Czechia this month, the process was super easy for an EU citizen. Any paperwork I had to do(rent and stuff), I got to sign digitally from home.I have good vibes about this decision.
