@textfiles I've uploaded several Flash thingies to the collection and wondered each time if anyone would enjoy them. Then enjoyed the feedback and visit counts. Never know what people loved or will love. Cheers to IA for every bit of it!

@textfiles What an overreaction to this post. Eek. Locating someone found in footage is a KINDNESS. I purchased a collection of home recordings, and everyone I contacted regarding them was thrilled to reconnect with lost treasures. Some featured long dead family members. Archivists connecting the dots behind the scenes is COMMENDABLE. Also, Jason Scott is a funny guy, laughing noting that this would not rank as high on a professional's to-do list. Humor, not whining. Relax, it's ok.

@futurebird My undergrad genetics course at a US state school used the text and DVD lecture series from Harvard. No professor. Teaching assistant grad students available outside of class a couple hours a week for class of 400+ students. It was AWFUL. I can read a book and watch a DVD on my own. Why pay for college, if there is no professor or a digital AI clone? Yikes.
