       @dick_turpin @marnanel @fencoul No it isn't. If I decided to go to Spain to escape the British Winter and got taken to Calais, I'd feel aggrieved. If I spent my life savings to escape war, to safety with a family member in London and had fascists protesting outside a hotel I'd been taken to in Cannock, I'd be very afraid.

       @dick_turpin You've just repeated the fascist-style propaganda that Lineker complained about. I expressed concern about racism against Syrian asylum seekers. You've suggested I support illegal immigration. That is an entirely different thing. I obviously don't support law breaking. Real Conservatives believe in the rule of law. Why won't Braverman allow asylum applications to be made in France? Because she wants people to confuse the 2 groups. Why would that be?

I assure you there was nothing illegal or hate-speechy about it. He asked people (it was clear he meant the Home Secretary) to stop using hate-speech. It's easy to check.Similarly, I didn't call you a fascist. I said you had repeated what fascists said. They' lie to annoy people into doing that.

       @dick_turpin You still seem to be confusing people (possibly wealthy) escaping war/persecution to apply for asylum with "illegal migrants".It's not relevant whether European countries are safe. International law says nothing about that. People can apply wherever they want. They usually choose where they know people and speak the language. As most British migrants did when they moved to Spain. Most refugees didn't choose the UK.We've taken less than our fair share.

       @dick_turpin Then we agreed all along about the objectives but stopping the boats isn't a solution because there are legal and illegal passengers on them. They could be separated at the French coast, then there wouldn't be. The Government won't do that.

       @dave My requirements have now been raised to "and available from multiple service providers, entirely accessible using software under a FOSS license, using open protocols. I only use software now that my data can escape from, because of the kind of people who run 'BigCo's.
