       @nicole I always overlook `find`, I think the slight differences in syntax between it and other *nix tools was holding me back. I need to get more familiar with it and stop trying to cobble things together using grep and ls.

       @creamqueen The caps lock is located on the left side of your keyboard, unless that, too, is bat-shit crazy. γένος means a few different things. Race is one of them. That's also beside the point. The term genocide is used for groups of people, more specifically, of their culture. That could be race, ethnicity, nationality, tribal affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion. It is absolutely "a thing" that is happening, and it has happened before.

       @academicchatter if you've tried any online writing groups, how have they worked for you in the past? What did you like/not like about them? What did the format look like? Was it strictly a nonfiction writing group, or mixed fiction and non? I'm group-curious!
