@freemo I disagree with your take wholeheartedly. First, the republican party is a fascist criminal regime with NO desire to preserve or protect democracy. Two, the US has a policy of not negotiating with terrorists as the GOP has repeatedly proven itself to be (look at how the GOP is protecting the insurrectionists who tried to overthrow our government on Jan6)
