Upsides of speaking at conferences is it has a deadline and if you don't like presenting the same stuff too often you are forcing yourself to build out new decks, which forces you to think differently / look for new ideas. The pressure of the deadline is self inflicted - I have to find something new to show is a forcing function on your brain to think differently and fast.Don't take the easy way and present the same stuff too much

Writing content that has to win on social over search engines changes your whole approach. SEOs are rewarded for rankings and traffic. Getting those rewards at best is a proxy for quality content, but often times it isn't. Social /direct on the other hand tells you if anyone truly cared about your post. Once the social signals hit, maybe that's when you double down on optimizing it for a 1+1=3 win.https://www.seerinteractive.com/insights/the-sea-of-sameness-problem-in-content-marketing-seo
