I’m watching the Eric Andre Show for the first time. I could not have attempted this without the support of online

@garfiald I mean it’s definitely a style of humor that appeals to me. As a fellow Monty Python defender I have an abiding love for hyper-absurd, gross, violent, non sequitur, fourth wall breaking shit, especially when people just take disparate 10-second bits and string them together rather than try to milk them longer than necessary. But of course I’ve also already been primed for some of this by shitpost culture (which I know owes plenty to the show itself). As for whether I straight up “enjoy” it I’m still working that out since I’ve only seen the first five eps. But it’s at least a great way to commit time theft

I had such a fucking weird dream last night. It was one of those ones that sent me through a bunch of places I’ve never been but that felt familiar to me and also felt like they had changed since I was last year. I think of these as anti deja vu dreams.Anyway, I met a lot of strange people in these places. One was a guy who couldn’t start a relationship with a woman without her dying in an accident three weeks later. I also went to an overpriced French clothing and curiosity boutique where I couldn’t really buy anything but I listened to some other guy there going on about a time he did crystal meth with Paul McCartney. Then I found something in the boutique I could buy: an attractively packaged set of surgical scalpels in various sizes and shapes. It was obviously for kinky purposes and suddenly Eva Green (one of my mega celeb crushes) appeared near me and I showed the scalpels to her and we both found them really hot. I cut myself on one.

The problem with having a spooky avi and name is that there’s really no way to put myself in ‘ween mode. I’m already a naked witch silhouette headed into the woods to become one with a satanic cult

When I say electoralism is a waste of time, I don’t really mean it’s impossible to get anything useful accomplished through voting. It depends completely on how your voting system works and what your elected officials are empowered to do; and one thing you can certainly do through voting is, at least on paper, prevent the election of someone who would enact absolutely horrible policies. When I say electoralism is a waste of time, I mean that most candidates for any position anywhere are not personally invested in revolution, and they will cave if that moment ever comes. Many candidates, too, touted as “not as bad as” their opponents are literally just as bad.Vote defensively when you feel the need, and vote for material policies that may result in worthwhile changes. Don’t vote for personalities, don’t vote for parties, don’t vote out of some belief that you’ve changed the world, don’t vote for the “lesser of two evils” if that lesser evil is still hugely evil.
