       @hn50 I am genuinely surprised it was locked down for 16 OS releases. Granted we have no idea what side-loading will look like in iOS 17, it might remain as obscure and unusable as using Xcode to do it.

       So am I missing something or does the #Duolingo #Japanese course not have any of the speaking exercises? My wife is learning Spanish and I was surprised to discover these even exist.

       @moon it makes you say the phrase and it uses voice recognition to make sure you said it correctly. My wife sees it in the Spanish courses, but I haven't seen it in Japanese.
