Updating this again.Hi everyone, I'm a Blind, and gay, writer and reader that doesn’t talk verbally a lot to people because I stutter. I'm some flavor of human that's always growing and evolving. I roll my eyes at people that use Liberals and Neoliberal like a gotcha. It's not good praxis. Basically,I care more about progress than labels. I also care very much about harm reduction when any Revolution is discussed. I value progress, progression, advancement, and actual empathy. Not empathy just to get more social media likes.I'm disabled, and honestly can't stand the online left. I am offline more than I am online, reading, writing, playing audio games and even video games. I also recently started streaming, too. More importantly, I detest the non-disabled social media spaces. There are far better things I do with my time. I value art over any form of social media. I believe art, of any form, can teach me more about social justice than listening to people on any social media platform. Now, on to the fun stuff!I love cats, especially union organizing cats. I love reading. I love most books people would find ghastly, like Flowers in the Attic, but I also love romances and Young Adult books. I read all banned books no matter who bans them. The only genre I just can't connect with is Westerns.I hate all forms of crypto, no matter if you're left wing.I'm a literary activist and a Disabled activist. I blog a lot about many long form opinions or thoughts I have. I cry of utter joy when people hug in books. I'm also sex repulsed so don't write sex in my fiction, but I fully support sex work. I love almost any cookie, and love cats in books along with fan fiction.I use IFTTT so I can take extended social media breaks and still post blog updates to all social networks without me logging on for a month or more. @minervissa Honestly? We just need developers to help make more open source software more accessible. Like, Open Live Writer, but most importantly...here is NVDA on GITHUB. Contribute something to it, code, especially. It's the best screen reader on the market.https://github.com/nvaccess/nvdaLibreOffice is very, very, inaccessible. I wish it was more accessible. So many spin boxes and edit fields in options don't read. Not all places of the application can be used via the keyboard.Or, you could help make OBS more accessible? A screen reader user can't add scenes and sources easily using the keyboard.Those are the best places to start. We don't need another screen reader, we need to improve button labeling and control labeling, and make stuff keyboard operable, as simple as that sounds, but, even today, it just! KEEPS... HAPPENING!
