I don’t understand how people can go about their days not wondering what the fuck happened to all of the insects. Those of us who took road trips in the 1980s can recall how our windshields would be covered in splattered bugs. You’d have to clean the windshield every time you got gas on the road. Now, I’ll take a two or three hour drive and have maybe one or two. Insects form the largest amount of biomass on the planet and are what the entire food web depends on. Without them, we’re done.

In my yard, I have good habitat and it’s still pretty quiet. There are some bees around, ladybugs, aphids, various flies and such however it being this warm, I thought I’d see more. The people calling mosquito Joe aren’t fucking helping and the spraying doesn’t do shit.
