       We had our company offsite today. It was used to introduce the wider company audience to our AI initiatives (as apparently investment money is contingent on us having an AI offering). As a nice antidote to the hype, Myfanwy Wallwork from the UTS AI Governance Program gave a talk on governance and risks for AI. First cab off the rank was robodebt, followed by the CBA chatbot debacle. She had a low opinion of the federal government listening to sensible advice on risk management for AI
