@apps I would have contributed to the Italian language, but I noticed that the translations there are more wordy than the English text. E.g.: "It supports: - Mastodon, Pleroma, Pixelfed and Friendica.[...]" becomes "Supporta: - Mastodon, Pleroma, Pixelfed, Peertube, GNU Social, Friendica.[...]". Not knowing what the translator has in mind, I don't dare touch anything.

Dear #Fedilab (@apps), until now I have been recommending your #Android app, because it displays threads as what they are, i.e., trees.But I found out (the "hard way", so to say) that you do #markdown formatting and HTML removal, neither of which are done by the standard #Mastodon web UI or the Mastodon Android app.IMO, this is simply not right. Not even if you made it optional. A post/toot should not be seen differently depending on where you see it. This is not an enhancement, it's a mistake

@apps How can markdown make sense if it's interpreted ON TOP of HTML, and if it causes the same message to be seen differently across clients, sometimes changing its meaning?
